Fantastic video, and soundtrack.Did my 1st 100miler last year on my Appaloosa mare but our rides in the Uk look so tame compared to yours. We just don't have the same open space that you guys have. Would love to experience a ride in the USA don't know which. Tevis is the one that everyone talks about but this one looks great. Your horses look great too, i know my two mares love to get out on the Trail.Thankyou for sharing your lovely day out.

What a perfect song for the video. You must be a talented rider to go thru that footing & filming!!!!!!!!How can you find the trail out there? Whew, in the MW it is easier to see the trail, you just have to make sure it is the right one!!!

ah!!! the scenery is breathtaking!!! Was that a pure Paint horse there?? Or part paint? Good job with the camera! It wasn't even that shakey or bouncy even while trotting!? How did you manage that?!

Well done! What a good representation of an endurance ride. And it looks like you have a happy horse. I love how his ears are forward on the trail.

I keep watching this video over and over! It makes me feel as if I'm riding the trails myself.. I had to laugh at myself when I caught myself ducking (at my computer desk) to avoid the low-hanging branches! Keep posting.. your videos are like a mini-vacation!

I love this video! great shots and well matched music. It made me cry.. I would love to do endurance, even if for the opportunity to see the countryside with my horse... I don't see how I can with my work schedule (work every weekend..ER RN) I can't get more than 2 weekends off a year.. My financial goal is to be able to retire in Colorado or somewhere near the mountains so that I can be near BLM land for unlimited miles to ride in..

this is the best and most engaing video I have ever seen on utube always wondered if an ER segment would be a good clip and worthy as a spectator sport can see that it is indeed a grand thing to share.AERC ride myself, makes me really apreciate your ride video even more so. arabian so smooth ?(tease)or what kind of video camera takes the jarring out so nicely....great job with the footage and choices of scenes while riding,is hard enough just being a partner safety wise. wow. where was this
ponyhill (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
If you conditioned for it, particularly for the climbing, then sure, why wouldn't it? Endurance is done by all manner of horses - arabians just happen to be naturally really good at it - but that doesn't mean other breeds can't do distance.

Can you ride an Andalusian Horse in this and would it survive?
