I don't recall any of them picking Pussyfoot up to check. Maybe she has a brother?Anyway, we refer to our cats (one girl, two boys) as He and She interchangably.

Don't be so sure, it was never really made clear in the cartoons! When Marc Anthony the Bulldog settles down, clearly conquered by our little feline wonder, there's just a sense of his conquerer being a sweet little girl!
