Futurama got axed wayyy back. and the producers of Fox asked Matt Greoning if he wanted to make a last film. And he said 'Why not 4'. So the Four movies are being divided into 16 TV episodes as the 5th season.

Complaining? I dont know. I would have thought there were enough fans to keep it on the air. I'm sure adultswim would air new episodes. But I definitely feel a difference in the pacing and style of jokes in Big Score.

Il admit the Episode on TV are a lot better than the films, but I can't help wondering if they purposely changed it's style because people kept complaining and it got taken off the air. That or they used the same writers from The Simpsons movie which I thought was a tad weird.
