Sorry, only Nina can sing this song. This song belongs only to Nina. This is exceptional! Stunning, with raw emotion. 10 stars!

Hey I just read what 1harold4 wrote very nice video and the song beautiful. Why did U choose this door? very nice with the cars coming and going and the people too and the darkness of the night with the rain wow! it is almost like the song its a lament to love and the someone is waiting for somebody to como out the door, some lost love or something. very nice!

Yes.. this version is very sad..like someone trying to hang onto something lost...time to move on...while Bowie's version gets me in a more urgent and emotional way....

I love Johnny Mathis and David Bowie's versions, but what an amazing voice!

Nina imbues this song with an incredible depth of sadness and the atmospheric video perfectly complements the mood.

This is truly a moving experience. Nina Simone really embodies a feeling of NY and watching the people come and go makes me so homesick for NY.

This song and video touched a sensitive chord inside. It's amazing what a man's insomnia can do... Thank you! |
