I think what Michael Moore missed in this video is the fact that Britain banned guns, because of murders associated with guns, and almost overnight the stabbing death rates went through the moon to make up the difference. This isn't a governmental control issue it's a self-control issue. If you take away guns, people will stab each other to death. If you take away knives they will beat each other to death with bats, if you take away bats, they will run each other over with cars.

Well I guess if Charlton Heston is responsible for gun related deaths then Michael Moore must be responsible for cholesterol related deaths. He's like the poster child for the Atkins diet.

Charlton Heston extended Moore the courtesy of the interview and Moore treated him with total disrespect. Moore's behaviour was inexcusable. Heston is still a gentlemen at the end of the interview and Moore continues to berate Heston. Moore doesn't have to agree with Heston, but Moore needs to learn to show respect to his elders and coutesy to people who invite him into their homes. When I saw this I was totally disgusted with Moore's behaviour.
