Great song ..brings me back to my youth dancing with all the New Wave girls at Wolfgangs Dance Dance in San Francisco..Love the part where he sings "best years of our lives, the hope of it survives" Yes it was!!...another reason growing up in the 80's was the best.

Intended use for the TB303 was to be a normal synthesizer that should reproduce (acoustic and electroci) guitar-bass sounds, but vastly failed at that, a mega-flop at that. Only the acid- and techno-scene helped the TB303 to raise to legendary stardom, being used as a acid-bass synthesizer.

And that, my friend, is the classic sound of a Roland TB303 bassline. Here in it's intended use, but since then very much (ab)used in the Acid house scene!
