north vietnamese hated the Chineseso, even though he is far more experienced than I will ever be in war, some of this propaganda for US apetitesbut to pretend that the Chinese were arming North Vietnamese is as false as to say that Burma is not being propped up by China there are distinctions for Far Eastern Affairs and US perceptions

i am tired of militarism as the show of patriotic forceits ridiculousthe higher ground, Vietnam had its own history its own people its own culture, ignorance of its own peoples ability its own countrys relationship with foreign powers led to a disasterVIETNAM WAS A STRATEGIC ERROR THERE IS NO SHAME IN ADMITTING IT

North Vietnam was fighting for principles that were important to our own evolution, self-determination, sovereignty, their own country which had been colonized for centuriesthey had better human resources and they won, they fought for their own country and they also defeated Cambodia which had the most evil regime in human historywhat about wall street, that engine of progress, its in free-fall, and that is what marines fight for

Well, as I stated in a prior post I said I was born in 1969. I will just pretend you can figure out my age on your own. Here is your chance.. Tell me how Vietnam was not a mistake for America.. Tell me why.

are you 12 or something? "As a marine your trained to obey orders and let someone else think for you" that is the most ignorant statement I have ever heard. I know now that you have nothing to contribute you troll.

As a marine your trained to obey orders and let someone else think for you. I will help you out here.. I am talking about Vietnam being a mistake not WWII. What good came from Vietnam? When you look back at Vietnam it is very clear.. It was a mistake.
Prodigysportsman (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
over 440,000 Americans died in World War 2. It also was not a mistake. You have no idea what you are talking about and I would love to denigrate you with names, but as usual, as a true patriot I will take the higher ground.
PrisonerOfTheCube (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
Over 50,000 Americans dead.. How many wounded? How many Vietnamese killed.. Its not a mistake? Your an asshole.
Prodigysportsman (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
I completely disagree with you about the wars. American involvement in Vietnam was not a mistake. American involvement in Iraq is not a mistake. The mistake is what Mr. Pham states, we lost not because our military failed, but politics and media screwed them over. He doesn't want us as a country repeating those mistakes. We should have invaded North Vietnam, if we wanted to win. Semper fi.
