Okay nice info but we now have 1.3a,s,c... so be sure to match up or aways go with 1.3c and up and your covered for those whom simply aren't sure wgich is best or needed to cover all bases. I use 1.3c to cover everything. And plan to pay a bit more then 20 bucks. Not many under 23 or so. Its all about the send sigs and recvg sig abilities of that unit (s).Keep in mind digital is cleaner but not always better.

You just said you don't have an HDTV and then asked if you SDTV could produce HD. Doesn't make much sense.

Yeah pretty much, your TV has to have the HDMI port though.

To confirm... If I get a PC with an HDMI output, can I hook it up to my TV, so I can use my PC essentially on my TV?

Awesome! Thanks man:)
ApFaqTech (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
Yes, pretty much all HDMI cables deliver the same quality of video and parts. Usually the difference in price is the difference in materials used to make the cable.

So does it matter what HDMI cable I get? Will one HDMI cable work for my HDTV and consoles when used apart?
anicetune (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
Okay, thanks.

There is no such thing as HDMI picture. HDMI is the cable that is used to transmit a HD signal. |
