I have to say that this is one of the best. Because of the tempo there is more time to make it interesting. I really enjoy this. Thank you for a very nice performance!

As an avid listener, rather than a musician, this performance offers more depth and character than the famous Kissin, et al, whose technical wizardry is less engaging on a purely emotional level. I prefer her soulful playing because it is not at the sacrifice of (award winning) blazing skill.

Whenever a piece of music is played correctly, everyone's playing has a kind of beauty in its own right. :)I feel that this one is a soft version and is best when one needs some kind of comfort rather than an ambitious dance of dreams. Actually I like all of Rubenstein's, Yundi Li's, Kissin's, and this one, but not balanced for them in different frames of minds. |
