Alice was big time in the70's-bigger than any other group,I think-but he is underrated today.Listen to the songs. He was ahead of his time.

Lame solo Career? That's a matter of opinion, obvously. But also try to remember that the ACG's last album "Muscle of love" was less than inspired, stalled on the charts, and is still seen as a disappointment. When Dunaway, Bruce and Smith returned as The Billion Dollar babies a few years later, their album tanked and has been all but forgotten...as was each members solo career, even to this day. Meanwhile Alice continues.

I think some of his solo stuff is alright (before he turned hair metal), but I agree, it all pales to the Alice Cooper Band.

So much better than his lame solo career! He really lost a lot when the group split.

Alice is so damned drunk and so ahead of his time, I think the world might of missed something here- A thousand ways to hell- one way to heaven?
