Both of these makes are US-orientated and basically isn't japan, its like calling Opel an US car just because GM is originally a USA company.

Cars are designed to be "soft" so they can abosorb the impact force in crash. Only thing which must stay undamaged at the crash is the passenger space. Look for some NCAP tests, and you will unnderstand.For Mazda, i don't know is it bad or not, but to be sold in Europe it must pass the NCAP, so that's enough proof for me.

it IS a standard engine. And they are hardly unreliable. Unless of coarse modified, which reduces their life-span. Just like a piston engine. |
