Sorry to hear that, I'm in South America, to avoid theft I have a tracking device installed, full insurance, and I use 2 brake locks, and chain, U-Lock and another lock pad (yes, 5 locks). Tie her to something solid like a light post with a huge heavy chain.

I have the same mufflers on my 06 XLC. The trick to sound is (in my case anyway) was to use a long half inch drill. There is a metal plug 6 inches or so in from the end. Just drill it out and like magic you have a really cool sounding muffler. Not cheap hollow "blooka-blooka" sound. I suspect the same trick would work with stockers.

Hello - I likes em! Are they the same (looking) as the US spec Nightster ones? Could you explain how you made them sound better - likes what's a 'closure plate' etc.Thanks.
