Weight has very little to do with top speed (in cars). Top speed is almost entirely determined by aerodynamic drag and power; a balance between the force of air pushing against you and the force of the engine pushing you forewards.

the veyron weighs nearly 4800 pounds and can do the speed it does amazing, the rumor is Bugatti is making a car thats going to destroy speed records and you know im talking touching 300mph

SSC is a nice car but it doesnt sound good imhoits loud thats allthe sound of other high-price sport cars (especially Porsche i i think) is way better.Even a Viper sounds better than this car

These are two completely different cars ppl. Veyron=sumptous luxury for your two balls, wife and kids.Aero SSC= 1/2 price and blow your doors off. Plus it's a better looking car. The original Veyron concept looked NOTHING like the monstrosity in the vid. Wonderful automotive achievement tho.

im pretty sure if bugatti wanted to make the veyron half the weight they could and then im pretty sure it wouldnt stand a chance. This car is only 2800 lbs., i have seen miatas weigh more than that. If the veyron weighed that, which it could if anyone wanted it to, it would easily top out at 300.

People let's not hate cause us American's can build a V8 with bi turbo's that can out run a V16 with 4 turbo's, The Aero might not be as luxary ans the Veyron, but cheaper, and wayyy faster |
