Open string and sl-i-i-i-i-des render the moment's mandate as reality suggests, reality, and..."just" that. Oh sonorous angels, deft in thy cause, melody be thine.

It took me awhile back in the day, to get into Steely Dan. I eventually realized that I really was listening at all. As soon as began listening a little closer, boy I realized they were more than just hip, but uniquely different than what was being played on the radio at the time. Talk about chops!I've been working on a rough sketch of this particular tune myself, so it's great to see that I'm going in the right direction, according to Ruskin's arrangement. He is really good. Peace.
