yeah and this is why USA and China are going to doom this planet. Because you can keep selling its people goods and telling them it's gonna fuck up the planet and they'll still just wanna be a couch potatoe

Excellent points! Now that green is chic, most consumers want to buy their way to sustainability. We need this basic reminder that quantity should always be the first decision (ie, do I really need this cool new toy?). Then we can focus on production quality. But the greenest purchase is always the one you don't make.

assassin34 (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
This is very true, we should be investing more time into recycling the resources we already have then tearing everything else apart, same with global warming, if the oil companies hadn't bought off all the car retailers we would most likely be on a more environmentally friendly car, and this is all cause by the greedy corperations, they obviously don't see anything more than materialism and wealth.

USA is the principal pulluter in the world...in relationship with the amount of people that lives on that country.

Needs to be sexy because most people will look at a film like this and say "hmm, that's awful" then go watch tv or eat dinner or something and forget all about it. no one cares. like he said, 30 years and nothing's changed. Unless it's something that people think will benefit themselves or is fun or trendy, not enough people will do it. Only the diehards. And they're outnumbered.

it's amazing that people needs a documentary to know that in this world a lot of powerfull countries are controled by the media, industry, etc.the only thing that will open people's eyes will be a huge crisis in every way, somethingwill show us the failures of human relations in the world. people should be a part of humanity and then part of a coutry
