I'm glad to see that you don't rev it out like most people do. It makes me want to kill them when they redline it the whole time.

I'm going to get one of these. I'm like this guy and just want to enjoy the breeze and not set any land speed records. This bike is more than fast enough and the price can't be beat. I just bet I won't be able to find a new one though because I'm sure they are gaining in popularity with gas prices.

He sped the video up a little; hes actually short shifting and accelerating modestly, so the tach seems like its reading low. Not knocking the vid though, just clearing up the confusion.

Are you blind, or just not very observant?

Since the video is sped up, it sounds as though the rpms are higher then they actually are.

I'm an experienced rider, and sometimes I think I want a Ninja 250, just for in-city commuting. City riding kills your MPG, even on a middleweight bike like my V-Strom 650.

Yeah, that is weird.
zoslond (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
good bike but why did you speed up the video?
HunterXray (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
Because he wants to make it look like he's "On the prowl". lol

Is your tacometer not reading right? The rpms just seem really low.I just bought a 250 today.
