Indexelbow ... no military is flawless. Its simple as this. First thing that comes to your mind when you say US military = strongest or most advanced. First thing you think of when you say France's military = cowards or weak. This is just how it is. The US spends half the entire world's military spending. Our economy is larger than France and the other 14 countries in Europe combined. China = 120bilion/year on military. US = 600 billion/year .. if you are not scared by that... you are a fool.

"I would rather have a German division in front of me, than a French division behind me" - Patton Germany conquered France in 3 days. France retreated from their own soil while Americans stayed and shed their blood for them. This is why France will always be seen as the cowards that they showed themselves to be not too long ago. I, as well as many other, find it hard to be impressed, or have respect for the France's military. Unfortunately I'm not sure a scar like that can ever be erased.
