In 83,(I was 12) I talked my Mom into taking me to see The Fixx, she agreed because they were opening for Moody Blues.

Sorry but Linkin Park and Nickelback are lame as hell. Foo Fighters are good, but only because Dave Grohl is formerly of Nirvana and he still has an ear for catchy shit that still rocks like hell.God...Nickelback is totally gay, man...sorry...and I don't mean it in an anti-homosexual way...I just mean they're just gay as in really, really lame.

Oh, my God...what a cool fucking video to a song I'd always loved both lyrically and musically. What a great song! What beautiful lyrics! What a moment in the 80s captured in such perfection. What a cool beginning and end and feeling and...damn it, I could go on about this song and this video forever. I'd NEVER seen it and it's like experiencing a pocket of history that I'd missed all fresh & new!I saw the Fixx when they opened for the Police back on Oct. 28, 1983, Miami, FL, Orange Bowl.
