Im not trying to defend the Bible or anything but those OT verses are just recordings of wars/the atrocities of pagan nations in ancient times. The Bible doesnt promote it, nor does it promote the idea that "all women are evil prostitutes"

I think the tone of the interviewee whom dispagringly remarks about his mother's funeral 'he cried like a little baby', is kinda harsh. It was probally quite upsetting.

I think that would be because he most likely thought that he could see his mother in some kind of "spirit", also if you think about it he worshipped his mother so he was trying to over come that grief of losing the woman he neededalso one of the women he killed was said to have a look of his motherBut I thought of the same question myself
