Actually Border Collies can be trained for any of those things, and it has been done. My mom has two Border Collies who are both FEMA certified SAR dogs and therapy dogs. They are an incredibly versatile breed, as are Pit Bulls. That's why I love both breeds so much! I thought that this dog did a very nice job of herding...maybe not the way a Border Collie would do it, but I'm sure this dog would excel at things that a BC wouldn't.

I think the thing that make pit bulls so amazing is they'll do anything thier loving onwer asks of them! And they give it everything! They weren't breed for frisbee, fly ball, jumping, wieght pulling, therapy work, rescue work, obiedience, agility or apparently, herding, but they'll bloody well do it!! These dogs have everything to offer, Just ask!!

type in wallace the pitbull and say that fuckapple, any pitbull wil do a better job than an overwheight lazy bulldog and im yet to see a bulldog without breathing problems,they all show early signs of hip dysplasia and heart problems and have no stamina at all, in other words they are fucken useless, b.c's are good with sheep i agree but fair on stuborn cattle this dog is only learning obviously i think he did as good as any other learner ive seen,do you talk from experience or through your arse

Really can a border collie do shuntzhund/bitework? a few Pits have scored the highest scores possible in competitions thats far from being dopey! And how about catch a wildhog? Never seen a Collie do that!Do border collies have the ability to be dope/bomb sniffing dogs? Not without a muzzle in public! Or the loving temperment to be Therapy dogs? Not Quite! I have been bitten 3 times in my life, German Shepard, Scottish Terrier and BORDER COLLIE! so much for your theory.....

now that was the funniest thing I have ever watched, that dog had no idea what it was doing, I suppose you cant expect to much from a dopy breed of dog, border collies are just way better in every aspect
