Great job on the teaching!!! Music Theory is really important especially over time because it really enables one to have musical conversations with other musicians to communicate much broader ideas in a very short amount of time. It is also just like any pedal or type of guitar in that it is a massive tool to use. It is like showing up to build a house with a complete set of craftsmen tools when others show up with rocks.
