You did not come,And marching Time drew on, and wore me numb.Yet less for loss of your dear presence thereThan that I thus found lacking in your makeThat high compassion which can overbearReluctance for pure loving kindness' sakeGrieved I, when, as the hope-hour stroked its sum,You did not come. i'm only reading the negative comments because they're the only ones making their own honest judgments, as opposed to trying to sound as smart as possible as if they've got some kind of point to prove to people they don't even know... this song is unique, special and iii like it:)

Most people seem to be recalling the different films where they`ve heard this and saying the usual "best film ever" etc, when in fact it`s probably the music that stirred such emotion while watching these films. Thank you Mr. Part.

Me too!!!! I cried like a baby! When she was close to the end and her mentor came and read The Runaway Bunny to her THAT'S when the flood gates opened. Beautiful piece of music!

I alway's wonder if Part's unique compositions are the result of not being exposed to the commercial west during his early period.

I really find this masterpiece soothing for my haunted soul and I can always rise up a little bit stronger after I have listened to this piece. |
