Well I'm not an activist, I'm not gonna go out of my way to try and convince or force someone not to use fur, I just think it's unnecessary and wasteful.

They already kill cows for meat, and they get plenty of leather from cow hides to make warm coats, and nice shoes. There's no sense in killing animals only for their fur, just for fashion. They can even make synthetic furs just with the loose hair from animals, if someone really likes the look of fur. And it looks real enough.

So you can't be nice to animals AND humans? Let's face it, who "needs" a chinchila coat to stay warm these days? Also...How do you know he/she isn't contributing to starving children in Africa (or wherever) already?
