It makes a total mess. You can get it off with a paper towel. Also set them in the sun. It will dry up. Thank you for the message.

I bought some ferrofluid and NIB magnets and have had a great time playing with it. but I built a little acrylic box to keep it from getting all over my magnets... That stuff is impossible to get off of your magnets.

this stuff is not oil. it's somewhat a 'liquid' iron solution. i made some in a science enrichment program.

yea maybe they could use old MRI machines as giant magnets then pump the oil back into a tanker?
