Coca Cola is NAMED after Cocaine(COCAine). Some doctor invented it for a stomach calmer(it actually works ). The cocaine was what gave it a kick, but then they made it illegal so they replaced cocaine with caffeine.

you are right 50% percent he did as a medicine but the really ingredient he use was a coca's leaf or plant, if you investigate that, Coca-cola company has the permision to trade coca's leaf more than the permited, that the reason for coca in the name and cola because he mix ingredients until has a flavour of cola, the only drug inside is cafeine and a can of coke is 10% less cafeine that a cup of coffee, it's only a rumour or a gossip created by the people

actually it did...coca cola was invented by a doctor as a medecine but it didnt work so they took the cocaine out and made it a drink
