Bob and doug McKenzie were not with the yardbirds or rush but John Candy was with rush for a short period in the early 70's.Rush is/was originally a zionist band from North Jerusalem aka Toronto. RUSH will not play for Baricks Obamamama when he is installed.

I just remembered that the singer or lead singer from Rush did the singing for a comedy Sketch or movie "The Great White North" and these two guys from Canada with hats who liked to say hoser talked about it. They might have been on SCTV or some other comedy show. There was record Lp Album released of it.
