Great defensive driving by Schumacher, considering the big difference between the humble and little yellow Benetton Ford against the mighty Williams Renault.

Looking in internet, I found that the Benetton's engine was a HB type. The legendary DFV retired before, in the '80. Still, the HB wasn't good enough to catch the power of the 3.5 V10 Renault.Good for Michael!

The best car (Williams) on new tires chasing down Senna who did the entire race on one set of tires. Mansell stopped once and still had blisters on his new set of tires at race end. Mansell's couldn't believe Senna did the whole race on one set of tires. |
