The chevy just had better tires and more weight... Heck, in a bumper to bumper, my 47 Chev 1.5 ton truck would hall that new chevy all over the parking lot, even though it's only got 92hp... Why? It weighs more... The secret to winning a bumper-to-bumper is stand on the brakes until the other guy starts spinning, then give heck and drag him all over.... That way he's already lost traction before you ever start pulling him.

there are sooo many variables involved? did the both have the same type of axles?- the ford definitely didnt have posi or limited slip. also the first one to break loose loses......
