I have a Columbia LP of her from the 50s; she was superb.

If you use software something like Nero 2wave editor" you can remove all the suface noise and large clicks from 78s & cylinder recordings.Have a listen to the recordings on my site, some of which are over 100 years old

Hi, you´re right. I take out the clicks and crackling in the video edition but always respect the mechanic changer noise.Thank you.

How do you make the records sound so good? Are they in great shape with no defects? or do you take out the crackling and tinnyness from the video? The reason i ask is that i find that 78s on youtube always sound really crackly , I am getting some 78s soon myself from my grandma ( who takes great care) , i will get a needle for it and see if i can get the same great sound.
