I love this City. There isnt a whole lot to do attraction-wise and there is no beach though. It's oriented towards older midwestern white people though, but that's changing. What makes Omaha special is that nearly the whole town was built from private efforts. Pretty much every thing except the Qwest center was made from pocket changge.

Omaha is an amazing city and you shouldn't listen to any critisisim, we have our faults, but come on down and you'll realize how great it is here. Plains Power!

i just redently moved from omaha and iwant to go back so bad i get lightheaded. OMAHA IS GREAT!

I was born in Omaha in '68, moved to CA in 1979, and have visited about every other year since then (family). I still love my hometown, and would love to move back when ready to retire in the future....I miss living there a lot...

Omaha is a great place to live-never stuck on the road for longer than 5 minutes before someone stops to help, lots of variety, small town feel with big town amenities, it gets cold but its fun,NO racial tension, great schools-very good place to raise children. I grew up there and I do miss it!

Kiplinger's Personal Finance magazine, July 2008 Rates Omaha as the No.3 Best City to live in. Calling it the PARADISE ON THE PLAINS Population: 821,356 I lived here 30 years now....It's comfortable and as interesting as you decide to make it.

Yes... Omaha is a pretty cool city now that I've visted there.. Yes the city "limit" population is bigger than St. Louis and all the other cities so I give it props. Wasn't too bad... but I have to admit I missed Mpls and the metro area of 3 million... Midwest fo lyfe... Omaha and all!!!!!!!

Talk about affirmative action. Omaha's population is 78.39% caucasian, and 21.61% minority. Yet, this video shows the community to be at least 50% to 60% mionority. That doesn't make sense.
