Of course she copied from the original. It's a great song that many groups try to cover. She took it to another level and made it her own. I agree that the original is always the 'Bible' version, because if you don't really know a song AS IT IS, your version ain't gonna be crap. Check out all the different versions by other groups here and you'll see what I mean.
