What a great band they were with Steve Perry. Sad they keep finding some wannabees to replace him when he is irreplaceable. Probably the best male singer ever.

That's awesome. Similar thing happened to me the other day. I was in the car, seriously rocking out to Wheel In The Sky on my way to grab dinner for the fam. The song ended just as I parked the car. I went into the restaurant and you can guess what started on their radio... Wheel In The Sky! I started laughing out loud and tapping my feet and singing along. There was a man just grinning at me the whole time. I wonder what he was thinking... lol.Perry Loons Unite! :P

Schon2112, I saw Journey with Arnel this summer, and with Augeri prior to that. I think they both did a respectable job of keeping the old hits alive, but when I want to hear the "real" versions of my old favorites, I head right back to Steve Perry. I will continue to go see Journey in concert, though, no matter who is singing, because I love to hear Neal play.

Misty, you should have been in my car with me the other day. For the third time in a row during the last few days when I switched from a Journey cd to the radio, what was playing on the radio but A JOURNEY SONG! I went a little nuts because twice was interesting but three times was crazy. . . and, yes, my daughter is embarrassed to be seen with me.

Journey is Journey. Sorry to say,Schon and Perry still talk, its all behind,I have been with Journey Befor Steve came into the Picture,after and now,Just saw them in ST.Louis and Thay were FANTASTIC! I have Followed Neal when he was in Santana,Loved him then Love him now. Arnel DOES soud like The Old perry. NO JOKE! I am a guitar player and Drummer for over 35yrs, Neal is my fav Guitarest,Soul SirKus,HSAS, Solos You name it, And NO ONE Can Take STEVE's Place.PERIOD!Got You Back PerryFan2!

I've got Goofy Grin Syndrome, too. I heard Open Arms in public yesterday, and my husband was a little embarrassed to be seen with me... lol!!

Journey without Steve Perry is wrong. Steve brought this band to the level they were at. All relplacements should punch themselves in there little crotches!
