Can it be used with Mac? I mean is it easy to transfer files to iMovie '08? I am to find a camcorder that works fine with the new aluminum MacBook :(

I thought that with the latest upgrade, the camera records AVCHD at 24mps, which is as good or better (is it??) than mini-dv, which records hdv at a lower bit rate. I know that AVCHD at like 17mps doesn't compare, but I thought the higher bit rate would. Also, doesn't the HG20/HF100/etc.. record at 1920x1080 whereas the HV20/30/etc... is limited to 1440x1080 because of HDV limitations?

i know tape is gives higher quality but it thought because of the hv20 and 30 being 1080i and the hf100 1080p the quality would be better |
