another uneducated comment, 90% of Iranians don't like their current government and 4.9% want reforms. most people from u.s. don't seem to know what's going on in their country. you do know that majority of the people in the Islamic regime of Iran work for the cia, right?

I was unaware most Iranians in here are crazy morons who love their government and hate the world. Perhaps you truly deserve what you get. Continue your miserable existence and enjoy your oppressing regime if that's what you want.

Here is some English for you: by calling someone "mentally incapable" from a 2 minute video and ignoring the ongoing politics, I can tell that you suffer from the common "Hallucination" disorder, and the rest of what you say are the initial signs of "Narcissistic Personality Disorder". Also from the way you question an argument I can tell that you are extremely unintelligent.

For your information,I,an Iranian, made the top 1% between 2,000,000 students in English, then made the top grade in "Communications" class between 40 American students but I have to use English because I'm in America,if I'm a foreign minister of a country hated by america I wouldn't touch English. It's a matter of pride.Whenever you decided to look down at any Iranian I'd suggest you take a trip to any major university, check their President's honor roll then you'll see who "your best" are.
Hesam0000 (July 6, 2008 at 11:16 pm)
And you're translating my words into something negative to take advantage and prove your wrong point of view.I never said "They're evil". I said " After all they've done to us, now that we have no relations with English-speaking countries it's not neccessary for our politicians to speak english on an interview".Who told you that "English is the language of science"?!!Even your Algebra is created by Iran. Iran is in this position because we keep getting robbed & attacked since 1500 years ago.
newsweekrocks (July 6, 2008 at 10:32 pm)
When you're in a hole stop digging. You're giving me one flawed argument after another. So now it is because "they are Evil we don't speak their language"?! What kind of logic is that? English is the language of science, if you don't want to learn then that's fine; you'll stay backward forever. Just look at your country and see what position it is in right now. Do you guys enjoy it? Do you want to become Afghanistan number 2? You don't even have to try to get there; I'm telling you!

newsweekrocks,Let me ask you something:If 2 superpowers screw your peaceful country for 150 years, steal your assets, change your governments, cause wars to take half-million lives & insult your nation day after day would you go ahead & learn their language & speak it in public because everybody else does, even when you don't have any relations with any country with that language?Mental incapable?Doubt it.He built a school for the poor, has a masters in intl affairs & 25 yrs political exper.

"Does Putin speak English?"What does that have to do with anything?! This guy is a foreign minister, in every single country around the world, the foreign minister in interviews, when meeting the press, uses English to communicate. Russian foreign minister does the same but this fellow seems to be different. He seems to be mentally incapable of speaking English and that is a shame. But if you guys like that in Iran then I guess you should keep getting a translator. It's pathetic.
Hesam0000 (July 6, 2008 at 9:51 am)
Does Putin speak English? He was the leader of the most powerful country in the world.Does Bush speak any other language but English? does he even speak English? :)))A foregin minister whose country has no relations with English-speaking countries has no need for English. He should learn Chinese, Korean and Russian.

Hmmm! Good point, I never looked at it this way.
