Giving people more money encourages them to buy more, thus increasing demand, thus creating more jobs. It's simply another way to stimulate the economy. Besides, Obama is only advocating a slight raise in the corporate tax rate, although he isn't bent on slashing it the way McCain does.Also... keep in mind that the McCain campaign's money comes from two sources: the US treasury, and the GOP. And who contributes to the GOP? Big business. So he'll take on big business with their own money

lets talk to Mccain, lets count how many stories he tells before he actually mentions the quesiton he is being asked.

to answer your business question, ecdmuppet,no. when money goes to businesses and not the majority of americans, there's no way to insure the creation of jobs or the increased income of the working class, only the increased income of business owners, who don't have the interests of the majority of americans in mind.

Obama never answers the questions, he bullshits his way out of it. He shouldnt be the president he should be a car sales man.

I believe I asked you a question. It was,(Why do you say that because he's Black?) I didn't conclude anything. Even though I didn't put the ? mark, you do know what a question is right.. Ya know, I just don't get it. This country is being destroyed and you people keep voting for it. You don't see anything wrong. This great country invented most of the worlds technology and people are getting poorer. We don't even know what we're gonna live on when we get old. The rich criminals want it all.

So children, family life, and faith are all bad things, only to be associated with Nazis then.. okay. Was it the children that killed the jews, or the soccer moms? Oh don't get me wrong! I'll agree with you that the screwed up religious ideal that Jews go to hell unless they accept the Romanized concept of a pork-eating, sabbath-breaking Jesus is screwed up, and has led to a lot of pain for the world, but not every person of faith murders jews, just like every liberal isn't a terrorist.

I disagree. I argue that any decent person should take personal responsibility for his words. But at the same time, you should accept constructive criticism. I counsel my fellow conservatives when their language starts to decend because it's easier to hear a rebuke from your friend than your enemy.
ecdmuppet (December 31, 1969 at 6:59 pm)
It doesn't, but you should still frame your question in a maner that allows people with a differing view to respect your opinion.I will rephrase the question you just asked:"Since the money Obama's asking for is going to be taken from businesses, reducing the capital they have for expansion, Wouldn't the money that's being proposed for 'middle class tax cuts' be better spent by the businesses themselves, creating jobs, rather than simply giving everyone a couple hundred bucks?"

Obama is the man

If you were a "conservative" as you call yourself, you wouldn't even DREAM of "taking responsibility" for "tempering the language" of your fellow conservatives.A true conservative guards FREEDOM OF SPEECH with his life, and takes responsibility ONLY for HIMSELF.
