America is has great aspects of it; diversity of cultures (non-white), educational/career opportunities and (certain) freedoms. HOWEVER, I HATE, with an undying passion, the racism and discrimination that this country is founded on. The white supremacy, not equality, subtle and blatant racism, tainting of history and the lies that this country is founded on is what makes me HATE America. So that was in response to your "Migrate back" theory. But how can we be free when everything we ever had was taken from us, and we were servants coming into this country? Some Africans did indeed go north and start a new life (don't forget that).. but if they could have afforded another giant boat to go back to their families in Africa, I'm sure that's what they would've done.

Liberia was formed in 1822 and not ALL slaves were liberated! Moreover the land was already inhabited. That's not HOME! You kidding me. I have Nigerian roots (I'm first generation here)... if I was "liberated" to Kenya, that's not liberation. There's proof that it doesn't work... look at Liberia now! 15 years of Civil war and countless atrocities. My Liberian friends can't even talk about it... they seen their whole families killed by rebels. That shit's not liberation. You kiddin me?!?

First of all, how much knowledge do you have of Liberia and/or Africa? We will live under the same conditions. By the time we were "offered our freedom" (given a chance to go to Liberia) we had no connection to Africa. we did not know our history, heritage, etc. do you expect us to go somewhere we have never been before with no knowledge of the area? Plus,you act like you are the rightful owner of America "go back to Africa" this is not your land it's the Native's and why don't you go to Europe?
