The one thing that I thought was amazing was this last weekend I saw someone flat spot an A048 in a VERY short amount of skid (half-second?). Tire was then thumpy after that. I think I will try to get ABS going for sure!

Thanks.The tires just completely died on me unexpectedly, they were virtually new (1 day use previously, about 1½ hour)and by the end of the qualification 2 of them were so bad I couldn't use them at all, I actually had to borrow 2 tires for the races. They were a friends "storage set" for parking his car in the garage, 4 years old and in his words "really slippery", I was quite suprised to find them quite grippy... Needless to say I'm on another brand this year. :P

Mats, great videos as usual. But I can't help but wonder if you dialed in a touch more understeer, maybe you would be quicker over all? You have to correct for unintentional slide a lot! |
