You can get a masters in music, that doesnt make someone write or play good, if you had anything in that head of yours this would click. I fail to see how going to school lets you judge talent. She CANT maintain a constant fast pick speed, just little short bursts consisting of a several notes. He brain pretty much can process that, smoking to much weed with the hippies I guess. And he lyrics are terrible, they lack any real depth. Face it she is horrible. Accept it you'll feel better.

I am a musician a guitarist and a student of music of all kinds from all ages. Before i even start to think about her lyrics, i am convinced ani difranco is a musical genius. Comments like recent negative one's completely bemuse me.

Wow...she is killing that guitar, and its not talent to go between open played notes and hammering onto another then repeat. She gets called talented by mostly "girl power" dikes. None of which play guitar...yes my sister loves her and worships her, one of her many victims to this terrible noise you all call music.
