No other country in Europe had the wealth of Spain during the 16th and 17th century, they were a major contribution to music, art and science and the development of Europe. You need to catch up on your history. This is the truth.Glory to Spain!

Your gravely mistaken, pal. Take it to someone who actually knows their History in this matter. It was more than 300+ Spaniards, and 70,000+ Tlaxcallan's (Indegenous Allies.) Keep in mind roughly 50% of the Aztecs already died from diseases(smallpox) before begining to fight in their last stand. As far as I know it's amazing, how they managed to put out a good fight, with only half of what they originally started.

THE only reason Aztec survived for that long, is that they were 200.000 and Spanish conquistadors were like 300 (Maybe a bit more, but not many more)

About the Jews...they were Nationally Spanish, NOT Ethnicly Spanish. Even then you couldn't even name me any prominent names that were leading pioneers. The fact is I'm not ignorant, as you are "blind with injustified Pride." Leonardo da Vinci,Michelangelo,Nicolaus Copernicus, Andreas Vesalius, Kepler, Newton, Galileo. All leading pioneers NOT Spanish. I didn't say they simply "contributed," but they certainly didn't Revolutionize with any "notable" contribution.

So I suppose Pope Alexander was a leading Nobelist...please. Again, you give me paintings. I want something that revolutionized the standnar of living or the progress of human development. Paintings?! Lol!

Pope Alexander IV called Salamanca's university, 'One of the four leading lights in the world'. You should also visit El Prado in Madrid. You will find most of the Renaissance paintings there. Unless you don't know, Artists only survived because of the patrons, and most of the patrons were spanish. Read on Titian, and other artist. Also read on the contribution of the Jews of Spain and the transmission of science in the Middle Ages. You must be ignorant to think Spain did not contribute!

There were hardly any contributions in Science (Michael Servetus)was the best you could come up with..pathedic. Oh, and don't go out on a limb with Art and Music. Yeah that will revolutionize human developmen and technology. Lol! |
