Thanks for the video, I have always loved this song, I'm not from New Mexico, but lived in El Paso Tx. manny years ago, it was always such a great song. I love it! Thanks for bringing back good memories.

Amen! Now the best spot is where Los Volcanes turns into Rio Bravo...wow...we stopped one night so I could jump out and grab something from the back. I had never seen the view from up there. Holy Cow. I stood there and watched for about 15 minutes. Mesmerizing.

Yeah..if you are not from New Mexico you can't really appreciate it this song. The lights of Albuquerque truly are a sight to behold. They are so beautiful.They used to play this song at a place called "Midnight Rodeo" THE best country bar in town at one time (Long gone) when we heard it..we knew the bar was closing.I have lived in Albuquerque for most of my life and we are preparing to move away.My 5 year old loves this song. Makes me sad to think this will make him homesick when he hears it.

Yeah my comment got goofed up. I just shed a tear when I hear this song about my beloved hometown. Folks carted me to California when I was 4. I never made it back home. To those that don't give a shit about New Mexico, oh well. Thank's man for this video and all the comments from others who know New Mexico with affection as I do.

Looking at the city lights of Albuquerque atop 9 mile hill puts chills down your spine it is so beautiful...... Traveling always makes you appreciate home.. Love this song!
