for those of you who don't know(and it sounds like most of you don't)my friend keith worked at the shubert theatre in philly and he got me in to see this show five nights in a row..at the time donna was at the height of her career and as far as we were concerned could do no wrong..after last dance the curtain closed ..then she came out and did this..imagine the show she could have done with todays technology..we worshipped her.

This is the ultimate image of Donna Summer, way back in 1978. The original recording (far over 17 minutes) of this song can be found on the Live And More album (1978). It's the song that made me a Donna Summer believer. No one ever can match this vocal exercise! This song and performance was incredible. Donna showed she could do more than the mostly falsetto sung songs during the beginning of her career. This was Donna in 'full bloom', the only superstar during the disco days. A milestone.
