Johnny Truelove was fucked up in his head from the start. He would kill him anyway. We already knew it when they talked in the bed that he was serious. That Elvis guy wanted to prove that he was a man to truelove. Robbie liked the kid. He never wanted to kill him. But he was manipulated. Scared of prison, and a coward.
