We brought a bark alarm - Bark Free Ultrasonic Bank Control System, Model# BF01. It seemed to help. We also leave the radio on loud and give them both Kongs!

What can be done? I only leave home for 4-5 hours tops. Will this be a problem living in a NY apt building? Can I put on one of those no bark collars?

HAHAHA...I play this clip for my Ridgeback and female Doberman and it sends them crazy. The Ridgeback is smarter and knows I'm doing something but the Doberman runs around the yard trying to find the dog in distress.

So sad Dobies are prone to separation anxiety, both my two cry when I leave, neighbours don't like us much :)

my dog barks like a mad man, and if i put any kind of collar on him (spray or shock), he'll bark through it -- howling like he's about to die from loneliness. it's the saddest thing.
