Heel toe is indeed a really simple and easy technique. For example: I figured it out myself, I didn't even know anything about it. Theres just one thing I would like to say about heel toe that wasn't on this video. This technique is really personal. Myself, I need to to bend my feet to get a balanced sound and if I don't bend myt feet/toes my pedals are lacerating my toes. Also in my opinion, you can go faster if you bend your feet a bit.

Wow this was very helpful! As a young self-taught drummer, this is really beneficial to my learning experience. Seriously, I had no idea how some drummers could do double-kick so fast! Now I know haha. I just went down to my kit and started on it, after about 10 minutes I was already starting to get the hang of it. Thanks a bunch!

Thanks that really ended the questions for me. I also think that its easier to see what your doing with socks on, on other videos when they are wearing shoes it looks like their heels dont leave the bar, which confused me, but now I am enlightened thanks.

I have eliminators, but I really don't like them. They're nice to customize though.
