I would agree with your opinions. However, I will always be a Sufjan fan for the simple fact that his lyrics tell an elaborate story. Not to mention his accompaniment. It all paints a magnificent canvas in ones mind. But we all see things differently...

Hmmm... a very simple song. Pretty, yes, but it doesn't really so much for me. I find Simon and Garfunkel songs much more musically interesting and they give me more of a sense of going somewhere. Same for James Taylor, whose group is fantastic live. There is a ton of talent out there. Will have to hear more to be convinced of the fanatic comments I've read here.
