Zgadzam się co do "świadectwa swojej epoki", chylę czoło. W swoich czasach był na pewno dobry i uznany ale mam prawo do własnego odbioru w chwili obecnej. Już zapomniałam kiedy miałam 25 lat...dawno zapewniam. Jednak uważam, że "...trzeba z młodymi naprzód iść, po życie sięgać nowe, a nie w laurowy zwiędły liść z uporem stroić głowę..." /cytuję z pamięci mogłam coś przekręcić/. Napisałam tylko moją opinię, podkreślam MOJĄ. Pozdrawiam

Zestarzało się w odbiorze...młodej Pani... - jeno."Starszy pan" gdy nagrywał tę piosenkę, miał... 25 lat ! I jest doskonałym świadectwem swojej epoki.

Niestety to wykonane się zestarzało, brak wrażliwości wykonawcy. Pierwszy raz słyszę takie wykonanie ja nie mogę się tym zachwycić.Brak w tym uczucia jest tylko "zwyczajnie zaśpiewane" przes starszego pana...

I am happy you liked it.Rebeka has been absolutely the most popular song of this kind here; for so many years. Mainly vocal as lyrics are also very important.Right - violin in the best way suits that lament-like music.

Great version. The music sounds like a jewishlament played on a violin. The favorite jewishinstrument in that period was the violin, played by such greats as Jascha Heifetz. It was only later that jewish musicians beganplaying the clarinet such as Benny Goodman,Mickey Katz and later woody Allen. But thesad jewish songs were played on a violin.There must be a violin version of this tunesomewhere.

I know, G, because in his biography it says he performed in Warsaw cafes during the war. But his singing is sensitive - though far from the emotional rendition of Terne. |
