Good Job!, stay on course! Can we emulate an MP3 codec?, where can we find some examples?

It is a FPGA board, it is not an ATX, an FPGA is a special chip that can be programmed by the user to be exactly whatever he wants it to behave as.It can a be a processor, a controller, whatever. In this case, he programmed the FPGA to be a processor. A FPGA is used by digital hardware designers, because they first can create a prototype and afterwards when they are sure the design works, they can create a chip in a factory. Hope this explanation helps.

Its an industry standard ATX Main board with some reversed engineered serial port to USB connector linking the main board to the laptop. He should just buy a small ATX case and put the main board there. That way his presentation would look more descent.

Awesome!!This is a boon to s/w designers. A 32 threaded nexg-gen processor emulated on an FPGA!!! opensparc rox!! |
