Where as the original 7 all grew up together, Gatomon was raised alone.The original 7 all grew up on File Island. They had eachother for protection so they never needed to go past the In-Training level.Gatomon, then known as Nyaromon, however was raised all alone in a place filled with evil digimon. She had to digivolve on her own all the way to the Rookie level and went on a journey. Later, Myotismon found her and trained her to be evil. She naturally digivolved to the Champion level...
