http://therealmccain.com/oilGa... prices are hitting all-time highs. Our country is in the midst of a recession thanks in part to our crippling dependence on oil, so what's John McCain's plan? Will he hold the corporate leaders of the energy industry accountable when he addresses them today in Houston? Probably not, considering they are some of his biggest fund-raisers. The Center for Responsive Politics finds that McCain has accepted over $1 million from the oil and gas industry. Many of McCain's top advisers have lobbied for big oil, which is why he now acts in their best interests, opposing environmental legislation and alternative energy plans. And that's exactly why we want everyone to know The REAL McCain.McCain is desperate to distance himself from President Bush. But according to the Center for American Progress Action Fund, McCain has received millions in donations from the same oil, coal, nuclear, chemical, utility, and auto companies that helped the Bush administration create its energy plan—a plan that has raised gasoline to $4 a gallon. Here's what you can do: Send this e-mail to ten of your friends, family members, and colleagues. Tell them to send it on to ten people they know. And don't forget to Digg it! Spread the word that McCain is taking major contributions from wealthy oil executives like Bob Mosbacher, just one of the special interest leaders he'll be addressing in Houston.

I love how when people repeat facts about McCain and his stances they're marked as spam.

McCain wants:- More Drilling = more oil profit.- War in Iraq & Iran = more oil profit.- No Specific Green Targets (only feel good waffle) = more oil profit.- Gas Tax Holiday = higher prices & more oil profit (its been tried).- No Windfall Tax on big oil to invest in raising car MPGs = more oil profit.- A VP with a husband employed by BP (British Petroleum), who wants to drain ANWR = more oil profit.EXPECT more record profit for big oil.EXPECT more record gas price increases.

I am the biggest Obama supporter there is, but twice you didn't let us hear McCain finish his sentence. "I wouldn't require them to..." has left me very unclear what he was trying to express. Let him be heard.

Iraq costs the US taxpayer $10 billion dollars every month. It has also cost over 4,000 dead US soldiers, and 30,000 injured.Iran is much more sophisticated. Much richer. With a much bigger army, and more international support than Iraq had.Iran will cost the US much more than Iraq.A vote for McCain is a vote for a war with Iran.

Yes he is, and Bush's government wasn't the worst in human history, just American.

All these conservative vermin that go on about paying more tax need to look at the fiscal irresponsibility of THE WORST governemnt in human history i.e. the misgovernment by Cheney and his cronies and the Bush puppet.Look at the trikllion wasted in Iraq that could have funded education (which would create more Democrats, hence the underfunding), more hospitals, universal healthcare etc.Barack's going to have his work cut out for him to repair the damage of the last 8 years.

Vacuum is PURE MASSLESS CHARGE. An inexhaustible energy source greater than our wildest dreams."There is NO energy-crisis, only a crisis of IGNORANCE" - R. Buckminster-Fuller
Beamshipcaptain (August 25, 2008 at 1:42 am)
No research is needed for alternative and zero-point energy. All the energy we shall ever want or need can come from devices and systems already invented, and suppressed, like COLD FUSION, and Professor John Searl's SEG, which is due to be unveiled in Thailand in December, 2008. If you own any utility stocks, DUMP THEM. Take the money and run. Vacuum energy inventions that were once suppressed are coming online.

Despite McCain's refusal to vote for renewable energy, he ran TV ads during the Olympics, showing a wind farm full of spinning turbines, the exact same energy he WOULD NOT vote in support of EIGHT TIMES over the past year.McCain presumes Americans are SO stupid that if he just shows them wind turbines in an Olympics ad they'll actually think he showed up and voted for such renewable power — when he didn't.
