no that engine would not be compatible with this kit. any engine with a shaft will not work on this kit- it needs to have a 76mm clutch rotor

hey guys, i was wondering if i could use a 5hp Horizontal 3/4"x2.44" Keyed Shaft, OHC, Recoil Start, Constant Speed Throttlehonda engine instead of the one you guys used, it weighs 33 pounds so do u think it will be ok, as in will the frame support it? so please get back to me with the answer ty

Yes. In most states & cities there is no age limit, tag, license or insurance required on motorized bikes/trikes, as long as the engine is less than 50cc, less than 2.0 brake hp, you don't exceed 30 mph and you are still able to pedal the bike. This kit meets these requirements.

no, a road tire will work very well even if it is thin. As long as you have the proper tension on the tire you will not wear out your tires.
